We have a first-hand understanding of the immigration process. Our attorney, Fakhrudeen Hussain, is an immigrant himself and will guide you through the U.S. immigration system.
Proposed Immigration Legislative Reform
This year Congress may consider comprehensive immigration reform (CIR), which may also include the legalization program for the undocumented (Title 5). This program would provide a conditional non-immigrant status for undocumented people, their families and children who are currently in the United States.
This proposed legislation would also provide work and travel authorization, as well as protection from removal, amongst other reform measures, but it will only apply to you if you can prove your presence in the United States on the day the bill is introduced and that you maintain continual presence thereafter. We will carefully be tracking these proposals and we will be here to assist you if any measure is passed that might apply to you or a family member's situation.
Non-Immigrant Visas
Our clients have various reasons for visiting the United States temporarily. Whether you are a professional seeking to come to work in the United States for the first time, or you are currently here on a student visa and want to stay longer, we will help you apply for the right kind of non-immigrant visa.
Employment Based Immigrant Visas
If you currently have an H1-B temporary visa and want to remain in the United States, we will help you apply for a green card. The Program Electronic Review Management (PERM) process for permanent labor certification can take up to four years, so it is important to apply for your immigrant visa as soon as possible.
Family Based Immigrant Visas
We understand that it is difficult to be separated from your family. If you have already obtained permanent residency in the U.S., we will work hard to help you bring your immediate family members to the United States. Family based immigrant visas are based on a priority system. We encourage you to discuss your situation with us as soon as possible to begin the application process. If you believe you qualify for a green card under 245i status, we can also assist you by answering your questions and helping you correctly apply for a green card.
Naturalization
Many of our clients have obtained a green card and lived in the United States for years. In order to obtain citizenship by naturalization, you must have spent at least three years in the U.S. as a permanent resident. Please learn more about how we can help you obtain naturalization.
EB5 Investor Visas/Green Cards
Investors can obtain permanent residency in the U.S. in multiple ways. If you are considering investing a significant amount of money in a U.S. business, you and your family may qualify for an EB5 investor visa or green card.
Criminal Charges and Immigration Issues
If you have been convicted of certain types of crimes, it may hurt your ability to obtain a green card or citizenship. We can help, by providing counsel regarding your options in situations where you have a criminal record and have immigration issues.
